Kangchenjunga Villa is an excellent location from which you can truly immerse yourself in a part of the world that is culturally rich and yet truly remote – and, let’s be honest, there are few of those left. Back at the Villa, you can while away the hours from inside giant windows or outside on the wrap-around balconies, perhaps with a chilled beer in your hand. The windows are tinted for absolute privacy.

The Villa has four rooms, boasting good specification finishes beyond anything you will find in the region, including:
Modern kitchen with gas rings, electric oven and overhead fan, kitchen table.
Combined sitting room/2nd bedroom with two carved wooden single beds, Tibetan rugs, traditional ornaments and pictures. Blackout curtains and Limbu silk lampshades. Range of games and video cassettes. Connecting door to bathroom.
Other amenities include a carom board, washing machine (not plumbed in), outside table and chairs, including 4 American-style rocking chairs.
Concierge on site. Housekeeper/cook and guide available and recommended.

Master bedroom with carved wooden sleigh bed, king-sized with memory foam mattress topper and comfort duvet. Blackout curtains, bedside lamps and decorated with traditional thangka, Tibetan rugs and local pictures and ornaments – connecting door to bathroom.
Emergency solar lighting if local electricity fails. External lighting and security gate. Local mobile phone with helpful numbers. WiFi normally available (some outages).

Covid notice
The impact of Covid-19 is unprecedented. You must notify us of your need to cancel due to Covid-19 as early as possible and at the latest, 24 hours before your scheduled departure from home. You must provide us with appropriate written evidence of the reason for your cancellation.
Your travel insurance may cover the cost of your lost holiday and we will ask you to contact your insurer in the first instance. If this is not allowable or you do not have travel insurance:
If we are closed due to a ‘national lockdown’ due to Covid-19, you will receive a full refund (or you can choose to reschedule your dates).
If where you are located means you are unable to travel, or if you are travelling with people who are unable to travel, but we are open and accepting guests, we will refund if we resell the holiday.
