The result is a unique holiday home that will welcome you as an oasis of well-being.
Kangchenjunga Villa is an excellent location from which you can truly immerse yourself in a part of the world that is culturally rich and yet truly remote – and, let’s be honest, there are few of those left. Back at the Villa, you can while away the hours from inside giant windows or outside on the wrap-around balconies, perhaps with a chilled beer in your hand. The windows are tinted for absolute privacy.
The Villa has four rooms, boasting good specification finishes beyond anything you will find in the region, including:
Modern kitchen with gas rings, electric oven and overhead fan, kitchen table.
Combined sitting room/2nd bedroom with two carved wooden single beds, Tibetan rugs, traditional ornaments and pictures. Blackout curtains and Limbu silk lampshades. Range of games and video cassettes. Connecting door to bathroom.
Other amenities include a carom board, washing machine (not plumbed in), outside table and chairs, including 4 American-style rocking chairs.
Concierge on site. Housekeeper/cook and guide available and recommended.
Large bathroom with hot shower and fully plumbed
Master bedroom with carved wooden sleigh bed, king-sized with memory foam mattress topper and comfort duvet. Blackout curtains, bedside lamps and decorated with traditional thangka, Tibetan rugs and local pictures and ornaments – connecting door to bathroom.
